It's a place you can go and have a plate lunch for $4.00 plus tax and tip. This includes your meat, 2 vegatables, roll, and ice tea. Now, you are probable asking yourself what is the house specialty? Well, I'm here to tell you Chicken Fried Steak rules surpreme in East Texas. Big T's is the best place to have Chicken Fried Steak and it is on the lunch and dinner menu.
Don't judge this place by it's looks. It has been our experience that some of the most out of the way places have the best food. Big T's is not on the main drag and maybe that is why you will only see the local folks here. Folks like the mayor, state and county judges, to oil field ruffnecks will be seen eating here. Just go in, sit down, and act like you belong. Oh! Don't dress up for Big T's!!

If you find yourself in the Kilgore area and your stomach is starting to rub your back bone, then pull off for some good ol' East Texas Bar-B-Q. At this point of your travel, you are 115 miles East of Dallas and 70 miles West of Shreveport, LA.

Having survived the first 6 months with outstanding success, using word of mouth as their form of advertising, their lunch runs are now standing room only with evening dinners commanding a crowd as well.
The lunch menu offers a large selection of dishes ranging from $5.50 to $7.00. The dinner menu will take a while to read. They offer an extensive selection of dishes that will satisfy the hunger of all who enter their door.
